Are You New To MLM Or Network Marketing And Can't Seem to Sponsor Anyone Should You Quit



The Simple Answer may be YES!  Let me explain.
This Happens to Everyone

 When people first get involved with a MLM or network marketing business they have an abundance of enthusiasm and hope. They want to share their opportunity with everyone. So we go out and tell everyone and anyone. I know this first hand because I did the same thing. And instead what I accomplished was setting myself up for failure and disappointment. I heard no after no. Although I was able to sponsor people, one they were sponsored they stopped answering my calls and responding to my emails. I couldn't understand where I went wrong. I couldn't understand why these people could not see what a great opportunity this was.

The Truth Hurts

The truth is that 95% of the people you introduce to your busines will say No! So how do you find that special 5% you might ask. You may also be wondering if it is even possible. Luckily, it is possible. But you need to find the right means to provide you with the right path to the financial ends that you want to accomplish.

So Where Should You Start?

Well first things first. You need to first determine whether the networking company that you are involved in has a good reputation, has marketable products or services and is something you can believe in. You may not have done your research on your company. If you got involved just to "get rich quick" then you may have gone about this all wrong. You have the wrong outlook and are sure to fail. So do some independant research online. Go the company's website and see what top management is saying. See that the company's mission statement is. If you have a good feeling and can connect with the company then you probably made the right choice.

Are you actually using the Products or Services you are promoting?
It will be pretty hard to try to introduce the products or services available through you network marketing business if you are not using them yourself. People will want to know how these products or services have benefited you. They want to know "Your Story". If you enjoy these products and services then you will be conveying that to a potential prospect. This will also serve to increase your belief in your company and help you stay connected to your opportunity so that any negative responses that you receive from people will have less of an impact.

Are You Utilizing the Proper Resources

We all know that we live in the age of the internet. Social media platforms are everywhere. These are the places that you will be able to find the right people who are "looking for your opportunity". Most people make the mistake of using the internet and social media in the wrong way. This often backfires on them and can damage their reputation. The key is to develop yourself as a leader and show people that you have value to them.

The old school methods of building a list of people that you know which may include your family, your friends, your co-workers, your old college or high school buddies, the neighbor down the street who you don't get along with etc. You get my meaning. If you go this route you will be hearing no after no after no. You will be left feeling disappointed and ready to quit. But there is hope. You need the right system to attract the right people to you.

So How Do You Gain the Necessary Skills

The first thing is that you need to be open to learning. The second is that you need to be willing to spend time on fostering the necessary skills to sponsor people. You should be reading self-help books. You should be listening to CDs in your car explaining how to network your business. You should be watching training webinars available from your company.

So How Do You Find The People "That Are Looking"

The key is by marketing yourself and your skills to them. This is not by telling them about your MLM opportunity. It is the exact opposite. You want to build a following by providing some basic information to people that could help their business. For example, we have already established that it can be hard to sponsor people in network marketing. And don't you think that other network marketers out there, even if they are part of another company, also struggle with this. Of course they do. And that could be a market that you cater to. This is where affiliate marketing comes in. Maybe you do not have the knowledge at this point to write a self-help book or create a video series. But you know what there are plenty of generic self help resources out there for network marketers. And many of these companies will pay you a commission to introduce other people to their product(s). The benefit to you is that you can start earning money right away and beginning to establish to people that you are a great resource of knowledge to them. This is how you will begin to build your list of contacts. This is how you will begin to connect with the people that are looking. Once people have an established connection with them, you will be able to introduce them to your company's opportunity as well. Then you will start to see results.

Affiliate Marketing

As I said, there are a lot of affiliates out there that offer commission based opportunities for you to advertise their products. My suggestion is that you pick one or two that you have used yourself so you know first hand their benefits. One great product that I have used is called Magnetic Sponsoring. 2. People think that word of mouth advertising is the best way to promote their business and are missing the boat on one of the most important resources available. (Tapping into the internet and social media has the potential to reach millions of people from all parts of the world. This is the best way to find people "who are looking" for your opportunity.)

3. People fail to recognize that people want solutions to their problems and not necessarily your opportunity. (You need to learn that your business is not about your wants and needs. You are here to show people how your opportunity will help solve their problems. You do this by putting the needs of your potential customers or prospects first and not your own. Ask them questions to find out how additional income may provide them with benefits to go on that dream vacation, pay for their children's college, retire early, buy that vacation home etc. The key is building trust and showing them that you are a person they can count on.)
